Roger Pecard

Roger Pecard,75, of Green Bay passed away peacefully May 20, 2021, with his best friend Karen by his side after a 3 ½ month courageous battle with cancer. He was born November 7, 1945 to the late Emery and Wilma (Hubbard) Pecard. Roger was a 1964 graduate of Green Bay West High School and proudly served his country in the US Navy from 1964 to 1966, where he met his lifelong friend Mike Lestorti. On September 12, 1969 he married Karen Merryfield in Green Bay. In 1970, Roger joined the Green Bay Fire Department where he worked as a firefighter for 29 years before his retirement in 1999. In his retirement, Roger worked part time as a meat cutter. He spent his free time at the cottage at Shay Lake with family and friends. Roger loved to cook and enjoyed grilling. As an accomplished woodworker, he created many cherished keepsakes for those close to him. He especially loved spending time with his two grandchildren, Cooper and Abby.
