Rosemary J. Westenberger (Rosie), 81, Green Bay, died Tuesday, February 28, 2023, at a local hospital after a brief illness.

Rosie was born April 10, 1941, in Kaukauna, WI, the daugther of the late Harvey Gossen and Geraldine (Planert) Doehler.

Rosie along with her husband Bob were proud bar owners of Rosie's Bar in Florence, SC, for over 20 years.

Survivors include her three children: Debra (John) Janssen, Sandra (Jeff) Messner and Terry (Carol) Heyrman; brothers, Richard (Trong) Gossen of California, Jan Gossen of Virginia Beach, VA, Ron Gossen of De Pere, Ralph (Nancy) Gossen of De Pere, and Russ (Jean) Gossen of Pulaski; 5 grandchildren: Ryan, Abbey, Bryce, Ethan and Kaleigh; and 4 great grandchildren: Dylan, Jayda, Kynnedi, and Skylar.

Rosie was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert (Bob) Westenberger; step-sons, A.J. Westenberger and Steve Westenberger; and brothers, Robert Gossen, Randy Gossen; and sister-in-law, Carol Gossen.

A family memorial service will be held on Friday, March 10, 2023, at Nicolet Memorial Gardens.
