Sandra L. Fotopoulos

Sandra L. Fotopoulos, 70, Green Bay passed away at home surrounded by her family, Saturday morning, Feb. 20, 2016. Born Aug. 4, 1945, in Appleton, she is the daughter of the late Herbert and Marcelline (Becher) Resch. Sandra was co-owner of an antique mall for 10 years, loved reading, cooking, word searches, rummage “saleing" and spending time with her family and friends.

Sandra is survived by her three children, Camie Mader, Appleton, Douglas Wruck (Nancy), and Sarah (Darek) Fotopoulos, all of Green Bay.

She will be deeply missed by her siblings: David (Nancie) Resch, Patricia (late Phil) Deniston, Terry Resch, Judy (Jon) Clope, Jacque Resch, John (Vickie) Resch, Sallie (Gary) Berg and Michael (Mary) Resch.

She also greatly loved her 7 grandchildren, Nicole (Jon) Virant, Jessica (Jared) Frisby, Courtney Wruck, Stephanie Mader, Kyle Wruck, Raven Fotopoulos and Byron Sykora and her beautiful 8 great-grandchildren.

In addition to being preceded in death by her parents, she was preceded by the death of her son, Alexander Fotopoulos; also her brother, Thomas Resch who passed within hours of her death.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Simply Cremation is serving the family.

In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, the family has requested memorials be given so the family may dedicate a local, free-standing lending library in Sandra’s honor, along with additional gifts to other meaningful charities.

We are all so thankful to our sister, Sarah (Darek), and her daughter, Raven Rose (Cooper) who took wonderful care of Mom during her illness; thank you to the supportive friends of Sandra and the family, (Jessica and Dawn); and to hospice and nursing personnel, Hospice Advantage (Jenny and Gina).
