Sandra "Sandy" (Choate) Bolm, 76, of Stephenson, MI passed away on Friday, January 11 in Green Bay. She was born on March 1, 1942 to Merritt and June (Sundling) Choate.
In 1980, Sandy married her beloved husband, David Bolm, who preceded her in death.
Sandy was an avid painter and chef. Her paintings have been shown in galleries and shops around the country, including on Mackinac Island and in her chosen home state of Florida, where she lived for almost 30 years. She wore many hats during her life, but painting and cooking were her passions.
She is survived by her daughters Wendy Bolm and Kim (Heim) Oakley, her son in law Mike Oakley, her brother and sister in law Jim and Lois Choate, her granddaughter Tori (Hambleton) Kaplen, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and beloved friends from Michigan and Florida.
Sandy was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Rox Cartwright, and her daughter and son in law Jennie and Ron Fisher.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, January 20 at 1 p.m. at E 838 Gerue St. in Stephenson.
