Scott “Cha Chi” M. VanArk, age 49, of Crooked Lake, passed away peacefully following a battle with cancer, surrounded by his family, on Thursday, August 16, 2018. He was born on October 16, 1968 in Green Bay to the late Gregory “Beeler” and Marlene (Pierquet) VanArk. Scott was a carpenter by trade but his passion was for craftsmanship. He liked to keep busy with many projects. His most recent project was a golf cart he built with his son. Scott always had a love for dogs.
Scott is survived by his son, Robby (Ashley) VanArk; granddaughter, Zaiya; siblings: Becky (Jeff) Busse, Karen Wheatley, Barbara (Tim) Phillips, Jeff (Chris) VanArk, Kelly (Gail) VanArk; many nieces and nephews; former wife, Lisa Polzin and her family; other family and friends.
Scott was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents; his brother, Jimmy VanArk; and one nephew and two nieces.
Scott’s family will have a gathering at a future date.
