Shirley Ann Beatty

October 21, 1940 — February 9, 2025

Sunrise 10/21/1940 - Sunset 2/9/2025

Shirley was born on October 21st, 1940, in North Middletown, Kentucky, to James Garett Fields and Virginia Brown Fields.

Shirley was an amazing cook. No event or Holiday was complete without her dishes on the table. Her food is and will be fondly remembered by her family members and people who have tried her cooking, from her Barbecue sauce, Pecan pie, Cream pie, Cookies, Bourbon balls, Jam cake, homemade eggnog, Pineapple upside-down cake, Marble cake, French silk pies, peach cobblers, blueberry cobblers, Apple pies, Fried Pork chops with baked apples, Duck, Perch, Corn pudding, Cornbread, Burgers, Chicken, Liverwurst and many more.

Shirley was an avid collector of knickknacks and trinkets, such as a doll named Amanda-Elizabeth and her various figurines. She also had a dog named Tiki that she loved very much, along with multiple plants.

There was never a day you wouldn't catch her without a western, a drag race, or a Green Bay Packers game playing on the Television, an Ice-cold Pepsi, and her pack of Newports. Shirley always made sure she dressed to the nines wherever she went. Everything had to match head to toe, along with her various creams and sprays. There was never a day when her light burgundy nail polish wasn't on her fingernails.

Shirley worked for Comb, QVC, and Fingerhut and retired from Target Corporation after 10+ years of service.

She Joins Her son Christopher, Her mother Virginia, Her Father James, Sister Jane, and Niece Erica in the celestial city on February 9th, 2025, in the home of Maya Beatty-Yates in Green Bay Wisconsin at 84 years young.

Shirley was preceded in death by her Mother and Father, her sister Jane (Fields) Lymon, her Firstborn son Christopher Beatty, and her niece Erica Lymon.
