Shirley Kelsey

Shirley Kelsey, 89, of Green Bay, Wisconsin passed away peacefully on March 24, 2025 with family by her side.

Shirley was born June 30, 1935 to the late Lloyd and Rachael Lindner.

Shirley’s greatest joys in life were: traveling, oil painting, ceramics, flower arranging, domino’s and lunch with friends and siblings. She also enjoyed bowling and golfing in her younger years. Most recently you would find her at the kitchen table, happily working on a picture puzzle along with her son-in-law competing who would find the next piece first.

Shirley is survived by two children, David Kelsey, Green Bay, and Tina (Dan) Weihbrecht, Crivitz; two grandchildren, Kristine (Mike) Tahlier, and Mirissa Fitcher; three great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Shirley is preceded in death by her parents; father of her two children Clayton Kelsey; sister Joann; brother Gary; niece Becky; nephews David and Sam; and several brother and sister-in-laws.

Celebration of life will be held on Friday, April 11 at West Side Moravian Church 1707 South Oneida Street in Green Bay . Visitation 10am, service 11am, and lunch to follow. 

In lieu of flowers, Donations can be made to Botanical Gardens in Shirley’s name.
