Shirley Jean Kingston

Shirley Jean Kingston, age 87, passed away on Friday, March 25, 2022. She was born on July 6, 1934, in Detroit, Michigan, daughter of Robert and Edna Kingston.
Shirley loved music and was a beautiful singer. She is fondly remembered for dancing and singing to her favorite jazz and classical tunes.
She was a hard worker and a very socially active person. She worked as an LPN for 35 years and briefly as a real estate agent, as well.
Shirley is survived by her four daughters: Leslie (Neal) Paalman of Greenville, WI; Amy (James) Stedjee of Appleton, WI; Holly Bart (Jim Ruby) of Hortonville, WI; Nichole (Jay) Hopfensperger of Appleton, wI; and many grandchildren, great grandchildren and step grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her beloved son, Barry; her parents Robert and Edna, and her siblings, Robert and Priscilla.
A celebration of her life will be held at Appleton Gospel Church, 2900 N. Mason St., Appleton, on Thursday, April 28th, 2022. Visitation will begin at 4p.m. and a Memorial Service at 6 p.m. There will be light refreshments afterwards.
