Steve Spang, 64, Menasha, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 11, 2017, at a local hospital. Born on July 24, 1953, he is the son of the late Florian and June (Moran) Spang. Steve proudly served in the USMC from 1971-1973. On November 12, 1988, he was united in marriage to Theresa L. Durkey. Steve enjoyed watching NASCAR, as well as the Packers and Badgers.
Steve is survived by his loving wife, Terri; two sons, Joe and Ryan; and his grandson, Eli; 11 brothers and sisters, David (Carol), Pat (John) Whitney, Ron (Judy), Cheryl (Tom) Hibbard, Connie Hobbs, Kevin, Kendall, Dan (special friend, Kim Nelson), Mary (Mark) Smith, Barry and Craig; in-laws, Dennis and Judy Durkey; one sister-in-law, Tammy (Dave) Behnke; 71 nieces and nephews; and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and one infant brother.
A celebration of Steve's life is on Saturday, November 25th, 2pm, at Local 148 Union Hall, 1201 Gillingham Road, Neenah, WI.
