Steve Wilfinger

Steve Wilfinger, 70, Manitowoc,WI, passed on July 30, 2024 in his home battling cancer, and was surrounded by his loved ones

Steve was born November 2, 1953 in Chicago, Il and moved to Manitowoc, WI in 2005. He loved living in his home by Lake Michigan. He loved the sound of the fog horn on foggy days, and the sound of the crashing waves hitting the rocks. He enjoyed so much taking long drives through the countryside and finding new roads. He loved taking family to Pine River Dairy to get cheese and ice-cream. He loved music, campfires, playing darts and woodworking. But most of all he loved for his family to all be together and have a good time.

Steve is survived by his devoted wife , Cora of 44 years, and their 3 children. Son Nick, and his wife, Ellen and their twin babies Henry and Sofie. Daughter Lynn, her husband Dave and their children Coraline and Ronin. Son Joe.

Nothing meant more to him than having his family about him, which by Gods grace happened at the end for him.

We are so very thankful to the wonderful Hospice team he had from Advocate Aurora. We were so grateful for their kindness and compassion. There are no words that are sufficient to express our gratitude to them.
