Steven John Julius, 59, passed away on Monday, January 20, 2025, at St. Elizabeth Hospital. He was born on October 19, 1965, to Mary Ann (Hole) and Richard Earl Julius.

Steve is survived by his mother, Mary Ann Alswager (Hal); daughter, Michelle Julius (Zak); four granddaughters, Madison, Chloe, Brielle and Skylar; sister, Lisa (Mark) Bombinski; and uncles and cousins.

Steve graduated from Neenah High School in 1984 and entered the service shortly thereafter. He was very proud of his service in the U.S. Army for two and a half years as an armor crewman where he spent time in Kansas, Kentucky and Korea. During his time in the service, he achieved medals for good conduct, 45 cal pistol expert, hand grenade expert and for being an M-16 rifle sharpshooter. Steve loved the outdoors, especially fishing and hunting. When he was younger, he was a member of the Boys and Girls Brigade and loved his time at Onaway Island in the summer. He was also an avid Green Bay Packer fan. Steve loved animals, especially his beloved dog, Scotch.

Steve will be laid to rest at the Veterans Memorial Cemetery in King at a later date with a private gathering with family.

Steve’s family would like to thank St. Elizabeth Hospital staff for their care, to Dr. Kahn and nurse Shelley for their kindness. A special thank you to Nikki and Dorothy.

Rest in peace Dad. We all love you, Steve, and will miss you.
