Steven J. Kugel

Steven Kugel passed away unexpectedly at age 67 at Aurora Hospital in Green Bay, WI on December 11, 2024. He was born June 5, 1957, to the late James and Geraldine Kugel in Shawano, WI. Steven loved his family. He had a passion for drawing, fishing, watching wrestling, working out, and watching nature. 

Steven is survived by his wife Eva and his children Jennifer Schmidt (BJ), Marie Deeg (Chris), Melissa Kugel, Jessica Menne, and Kristina Menne, as well as his grandchildren Brodie, Alivia, Kaitlynn, Austin, Madison, Carter, and Annabelle. He is also survived by his siblings Kathryn Koehler, Kristine Thomas (Brad), Michelle Mahoney (Brian), and Michael Kugel, in laws William Menne, Laurie Menne, Barb Menne (Kevin), his mother in law Joyce Alsteen and many nieces and nephews. 

The family wishes a special thank you to the staff at Aurora Hospital and Aurora Hospice for their compassion and care during his last few days. Their compassion and support will not be forgotten. 

A private memorial service will be held to celebrate Steven’s life at a later date.
