On Monday May 31, 2021 Sue Anne O’Harrow, loving mother, grandmother and friend left us unexpectedly at the age of 62. Sue will be lovingly remembered by her children: Jedd Rosenlund (Riley and Andi Rosenlund/ mother Charley Tessier.) Lilian (Jacob) Griesbach (Nathaniel, Elizabeth, Abigail, and Eleanor Griesbach.) Ali O’Harrow. Roy O’Harrow.
Sue was born in Milwaukee, Wi in the spring of ‘59. She was the oldest of 6 children. Sue and her siblings moved to Gillett where she grew up riding bikes and hitchhiking with friends. Sue would go on to graduate from Gillett High School and went on to start her life in Oconto County.
Sue enjoyed many years in the hospitality industry. She loved meeting new people, swapping stories and seeing photos of their families. She made life long friends throughout her career and valued all the people she was able to serve over her years in the industry. Sue was an incredibly nurturing person who always put others first. She was a young at heart, kind, caring woman. Everywhere she went people spoke to Sue as if they had been friends forever. She was a person who radiated compassion and empathy.
Sue’s greatest pride are her children and grandchildren. She birthed four amazing kids and mothered countless others. Her children blessed her with six grandchildren, two grand fur-babies and so many laughs and smiles. Sue’s most favorite thing to do was spend time with her kids and grandkids. Going to the park with the grandkids, watching them grow and learn brought her the most joy. She went by a lot of names but Mom and Grandma were by far her favorite.
Sue leaves behind her children, grandchildren, her sister Nicole, her aunt Diane, her dog Kiki, many nieces and nephews, and friends.
Sue was welcomed into peace by her sister Jill, her Grandma Marge, and her grandparents Melvin and Orpha Muck.
A celebration of life will be held at St. Anne Parish Pavilion, 221 East Main Street, Lena on Saturday, June 5 at 1:00pm.
