Sylvester "Syl" Guyette, 77, Green Bay, passed away Monday afternoon, February 28, 2022, at a local hospital with family by his side. Born December 16, 1944, in De Pere, WI, he is the son of the late Francis and Alice Guyette. Syl faithfully served in the US Army as a medic before he was honorably discharged. He will be remembered as a very intelligent man that could not be stumped on any sort of trivia, keeping his wit to the very end. Syl loved the outdoors including fishing, trips to the park or any other activity that would allow him to spend time with his precious grandchildren.
Syl is survived by three children, Erin (Chad) Bailey, Courtney Guyette, and Paul Guyette; six grandchildren, Helena, Naudia and Malora Gerrits, Sonny and Simon Cannella, and Carolyn Guyette; brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, other relatives, friends and his best friend Larry Clark.
He was also preceded in death by two sons; a granddaughter; and many brothers and sisters
Private family services will be held this summer.
The family extends a special thank you to Sarah and the entire staff on the fourth floor of Bellin Hospital.
