Terrance “Terry” Olson, 58, Green Bay, died Wednesday morning, August 6, 2014, at a local hospital. Born May 30, 1956, in Green Bay, he is the son of the late Floyd and Ruby (Scannell) Olson. Terry was employed at Bay Foundry in his earlier years. Later, he became owner of “Ole’s Saloon” on Broadway in West Green Bay where he received the title of “King of Broadway”. Terry enjoyed time up at the cottage in Rhinelander with his family and also at Dan and Ruby’s park home at Quiet Woods North.
He is survived by his step-father, Daniel Drossart (special friend, Barbara Deshambo); step-daughter, Melissa “Missy” Hollsten and her children, Nathan Wyngaard, Jessica French and Cindy (Jeff) Parks; half-brother, Daniel Kuske (fiancee’ Kay VanDreel); half-sisters, Kim Mary (Dave Sedenquist) Kuske and Michelle (Neil) Baldwin; uncle, Jim Olson; and several nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by his parents and maternal and paternal grandparents.
Visitation at Holy Cross Church, Bay Settlement, Saturday, from 12 noon until the time of the memorial service at 1pm with the Rev. Frank Sherry, CPM from the Shrine of Our Lady of Good Help officiating. Simply Cremation, 431-0100, serving the family.
