Timothy J. Parins, 63, Green Bay, passed away peacefully on January 13, 2019, after an unexpected illness, with his children at his side.
Tim graduated from Pulaski High School in 1973 and followed in his father’s footsteps as District Sales Manager at Farmers Insurance Group for 20 years. After a company restructuring, his sales career continued as Area Sales Manager to the Midwest and Florida restaurant industries until retirement.
More than his career accomplishments, Tim’s highest achievements were his children and grandchildren. He loved to watch them grow and celebrate each individual’s milestones.
Tim loved the outdoors, especially fishing Florida’s everglades and oceans or Wisconsin lakes and streams. The family spent many vacations in Florida and Tim enjoyed being a snowbird during retirement. He was a dedicated Packers fan and season ticket holder. Tim loved the finer things in life and knew all the latest facts on fast cars and fashion jewelry, yet would give the shirt off his back to help anyone in need.
He was preceded in death by his father, Milton Parins. He is survived by his three children, Greg (Bethany) Parins, John (Laurel) Parins and Andrea (Mark) Lasecki, their mother, Teri Parins, seven grandchildren, Addison, Carter, Aubree, Josephine and Cullen Parins and Vincent and Claire Lasecki, mother, Marion Van Orsdell, sister, Joan Blanco, brothers Jeff and Pat Parins, nieces and nephews, Michael and Katie Parins, Taylor and Francesca Blanco.
A visitation will be held Saturday, Jan. 19 at Assumption BVM Parish, 124 E. Pulaski St., at 10 a.m. with a memorial service at noon.
