Vivienne Godet

Vivienne Kathleen Godet, 65, of Los Angeles, CA passed away too soon, on Sunday, June 5th, 2022 at Bellin Health Hospital in Green Bay, WI. Vivienne was born in Matthew Town, Inagua in the Bahamas on October 6th, 1956 into the well-known Godet clan. As the youngest child of Kathleen (nee Basden) & William Godet Jr., she had a large extended family. Her parents moved to Nassau, Bahamas in 1958, and eventually to Freeport, Grand Bahama in 1969. Vivienne graduated from Catholic High School in 1973. Vivienne won the title of Miss Grand Bahama in 1974 and later that year went on to compete in the Miss Bahamas Pageant where she placed first runner up. Her success in these pageants was due to her outstanding singing talent. As a result, she was invited to participate in the Washington, DC Cherry Blossom Festival. Vivienne moved to Los Angeles, California in 1978 to attend Los Angeles Valley College, where she studied voice.
