William Derse

October 30, 1942 — September 24, 2015

William “Bill” Derse, 72, of Bonita Springs, FL, and Sturgeon Bay, WI, passed away September 24, 2015. Born on October 30, 1942, in Milwaukee, he is the son of Isabelle (D’Aoust) and the late William Derse. Bill graduated from Pius High School the class of 60’. He served the United States Navy Submarine service as an engineman from 1961 to 1963. Bill worked as a journeyman sheet metal worker for Wenninger for 7 years. He married the former Carolyn (Schwister) on November 6, 1965, in Milwaukee. Bill founded Professional System Analysis in 1983 an air balancing company and went on to become a member of the board and eventually the President of AABC. Retiring in 2003 Bill went on to become an avid golfer and fisherman. He enjoyed his time spent at Riley’s Point in Door County and golfing the winter away in Bonita Springs.

He is survived by his wife of fifty years, Carolyn; five children and their spouses, Jackie (Steve) Squires, Joanne (Finnegan) Lepski, William “Tony” (Crystal) Derse, Robert (Michelle) Derse, and Scott (Celeste) Derse; mother, Isabelle Derse; six grandchildren, Alex, Timothy, Stevie, Savannah, Morgan, and Reagan; two sisters, and five brothers.

Bill is preceded in death by his father, and one brother.

Visitation at St Mary’s Parish N89 W16297 Cleveland Ave., Menomonee Falls, WI, Saturday October 17, from 9:30 AM until the time of the Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM with Rev. Repenshek officiating.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Aurora Hospital.
