William H. “Bill” Menne, Jr., age 85, of Green Bay, Wisconsin passed away surrounded by family on January 29, 2015. He was born May 22, 1929 in Green Bay, to the late William and Anna (Nachtwey) Menne.
Bill was a valued member of the U.S. Airforce, and was honorably discharged after the passing of his father to care for his mother and the family farm in Denmark, WI. He is survived by six grandchildren, Jessica (Brandon) Menne, Kristina Menne, Holly (Aaron) Mead, Nicolle (Josh) Van Kauwenberg, Toni Van Horn, and Tyler (Miranda) VanEss. He is also survived by two great-grandchildren, Anthony Michael Mead, and Annabelle Grace Menne. The family would also like to recognize the love and support of Cullie, who was Bill’s closest friend.
Bill is preceded in death by his parents William and Anna, and his two brothers Don and William Owen (infant).
A private memorial service will be held to celebrate Bill’s life.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to the William Menne Memorial Fund at 1921 Ceil St. Little Chute, WI 54140.
